Real Talk – How’s It Going?

September went by in a blur. Even faster than that, we are in the 4th quarter of a year that felt like it only started yesterday.

What are you doing to make sure you live in the moment whenever possible? What are you doing to make sure you are accomplishing all you set out to do this year?

Status check. Raise your hand if you are where you thought you’d be for 2024.

I see a few, but not many. And THAT’S OK!

Perhaps you set out to try and do too many things. Perhaps life happened. No matter the cause, you can do something about it. This is where strategy comes into play. Look at your list, try and cull it down to the top 3-5 things that are absolute dealbreakers for you to accomplish in the next 3 months, nee 2 months because we all know once December hits attentions and energy will be focused elsewhere.

Break out things into smaller chunks. Have a strategy and plan in place that you can follow, that will help everything seem less overwhelming, and let your muscle memory take over on days you can’t possibly think of the next step.

This goes for your marketing and business practices too! A good strategic marketer by your side will help you take that insurmountable and nebulous “marketing plan” off your plate and develop it into something that is actually enjoyable to experience. A business alchemist can take it one step further and help you transmute those thoughts and ideas you’ve had floating around in your mind into actionable plans and tactics to keep you moving forward.

You don’t have to do this alone. Help is out there. Not because you are incapable of doing it yourself, but because you are at a critical juncture of having so many things that need your attention, that if you continue to spread yourself so thin, nothing will be accomplished, or well.

If nothing else, follow the motto of my alma mater – #Meliora, and be “ever better” for yourself, your business and your company by getting the support needed, when it is needed most – the cross section of successfully completing one year, and strategically planning for the next.
